Terms & Conditions

These Terms form a binding agreement between you and Bitmoq. They apply to every visitor, registrant, profile creator (including parents, siblings, relatives, and friends creating a profile on behalf of a marriage-seeking individual), free-tier member, paid-tier member, and any person who accesses teaser or full discovery content.

Continued use after we publish updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material updates may be notified via the Platform, email associated with your account, or both. Your obligation to keep information genuine and to abstain from misuse is continuous and does not expire because later Terms are quieter on a point already covered here.

• Member / User: any person with an account or who uses the Platform.
• Profile: the matrimonial biodata and related records associated with a marriage-seeking individual.
• PII: personally identifiable information, including but not limited to full legal name, last name, email address, phone number, precise residential address, identity document details, and similarly sensitive contact or identity data stored in Bitmoq’s privacy vault.
• Public / discovery data: limited, non-PII attributes that may appear on discovery cards or teasers (for example masked display name, age band, city/region at a coarse level, religion, education summary, profession summary), never including vaulted contact fields.
• Misrepresentation: any false, incomplete, misleading, outdated, stolen, fabricated, or impersonating statement or material about identity, marital status, age, gender, family, education, occupation, income, location, photographs, citizenship, health, or intent.
• Misuse: use of the Platform or of any Member’s information contrary to these Terms, applicable law, or marriage-seeking purpose—including scraping, stalking, harassment, commercial solicitation, fraud, doxxing, reverse engineering of privacy controls, or sharing another Member’s data without authorisation.

You may use Bitmoq only if you are legally competent to enter a binding contract under applicable law, meet the minimum age required for marriage under the laws that apply to you, and are using the Platform for genuine matrimonial purposes for yourself or a close family member / authorised relative with their knowledge and consent.

Bitmoq is a family-oriented matrimonial service, not a casual dating, escort, adult-content, or anonymous chat service. Accounts created for novelty, investigation without lawful basis, spam, data harvesting, or social media amusement are prohibited and subject to immediate removal.

Every User is solely and fully liable for the truth, accuracy, completeness, and currency of all information, documents, and photographs they submit, upload, display, or communicate through Bitmoq. You warrant that such information is 100% genuine.

Without limiting the foregoing, you represent and warrant that:

• Your identity, age, gender, marital status (including any prior marriage, divorce, annulment, widowhood, or ongoing proceedings), and relationship intent are true and not concealed.
• Photographs depict the actual person for whom the profile is created, are recent, unaltered in a deceptive way, and are not stolen from another person or generated to impersonate someone else.
• Education, occupation, income figures, family details, citizenship, residency, and location claims are accurate to the best of your knowledge and updated promptly when they change.
• If you create a profile for another person (parent, sibling, relative, or friend), you have their informed consent, you are authorised to act, and the same 100% genuineness standard applies to every field you enter on their behalf. You and the subject of the profile may both be held accountable for falsehoods.
• You will not omit material facts that a reasonable family would expect to know before serious matrimonial consideration (for example active legal barriers to marriage, existing living spouse, known identity fraud).

Bitmoq does not assume liability for losses arising from your reliance on another User’s statements. However, Bitmoq reserves every contractual and legal right described below to verify, suspend, remove, and pursue Users who breach this genuineness obligation.

By using the Platform you expressly authorise Bitmoq and its designated officers, vendors, and verification partners to subject your account and Profile to legal, administrative, and documentary verification at any time, including but not limited to:

• Requesting government-issued identity documents, address proofs, marital-status proofs, educational certificates, employment letters, or other materials Bitmoq reasonably deems necessary.
• Manual human review of photographs and biodata for consistency, authenticity markers, and policy compliance.
• Cross-checking information against other submissions, User reports, publicly available records where lawful, and internal fraud signals.
• Temporary locking of discovery, messaging, or PII-handshake features pending satisfactory verification.
• Marking or removing “verified” / trust indicators if verification fails, expires, or is withdrawn.

Failure to cooperate with a verification request within a reasonable period stated by Bitmoq, or submission of forged or altered documents, constitutes a material breach. Bitmoq may permanently ban the account, delete associated content, preserve records for legal proceedings, and initiate or support civil or criminal action under applicable law (including offences relating to cheating, impersonation, forgery, and identity fraud).

Verification badges or Free / paid tiers do not guarantee that a User is suitable for marriage, financially stable, medically fit, or free of undisclosed liabilities. Verification reduces risk; it does not eliminate it. You remain responsible for conducting your own due diligence—such as family meetings, legal counsel, and independent background checks—before any engagement or marriage.

The following are strictly forbidden. Engaging in any of them entitles Bitmoq to immediate removal and legal action without prior notice where urgency or safety so requires:

• Misrepresentation & catfishing: fake profiles, misleading ages, disguised marital status, stock or AI faces passed off as real, or profiles of persons who do not consent.
• Misuse of information: copying, publishing, selling, doxxing, blackmailing, harassing, or using another Member’s biodata, photos, chat content, or unlocked PII outside the confidential matrimonial purpose for which it was shared.
• Risk & harm to other Users: threats, stalking, sexual solicitation, hate speech, casteist or religious abuse designed to intimidate, fraud schemes, romance scams, financial solicitation, or any conduct that poses safety, neuroprivacy, reputational, or financial risk to Members or their families.
• Circumvention of privacy: attempting to extract vaulted PII without a mutual handshake; probing APIs; scraping discovery or teaser catalogues; automating mass contact; reverse engineering encryption or access controls.
• Commercial abuse: promoting unrelated products, agencies, multilevel schemes, travel packages, or third-party matchmaking without Bitmoq’s written approval.
• Multiple or bots accounts: creating parallel identities to evade bans, inflate visibility, or manipulate filters.
• Illegal content: child sexual material (any involvement results in immediate ban and law-enforcement referral), non-consensual intimate imagery, malware, or content that violates intellectual property or privacy rights.

Bitmoq may, at its sole discretion and without liability to you, take any combination of the following actions upon suspected or confirmed violation—especially misuse of information, misrepresentation, or conduct that poses risk to Users:

• Immediate suspension or permanent termination of access.
• Soft-delete or hard-delete of Profiles, photos, messages, and related records from public and Member-facing surfaces.
• Revocation of membership benefits and forfeiture of unused plan privileges where permitted by law and payment-provider rules.
• Preservation of logs, IP metadata, device identifiers, submitted documents, and chat records for investigation and legal production.
• Civil claims for damages, injunctive relief, and recovery of investigation costs.
• Criminal complaints or cooperation with police, cybercrime cells, and other competent authorities.
• Notice to affected Members where Bitmoq reasonably believes disclosure is necessary to mitigate ongoing risk.

You waive any claim that Bitmoq was obliged to warn you before emergency removal when the Platform integrity, User safety, or legal compliance is at stake. Where feasible for less severe first-time policy issues, Bitmoq may issue a warning or temporary restriction instead; this courtesy is not a right and does not create estoppel against later permanent action.

Bitmoq employs layered operational, product, and legal safeguards typical of a serious matrimonial network. These protections exist for Platform integrity and Member safety; they are not a warranty that every Profile is risk-free.

• Purpose limitation: Product flows, copy, and enforcement prioritise marriage-seeking introductions and family involvement over casual dating mechanics.
• Teaser discovery for guests: Non-logged-in visitors may preview a limited set of profiles; the remainder are blurred. Opening full profiles requires authenticated access, reducing anonymous bulk harvesting.
• Account gating: Google sign-in and short onboarding establish an accountable Free-tier identity before deeper search.
• Human verification pathways: Elevated trust signals and document checks for Members who opt into or are selected for verification.
• Privacy handshake for PII: Sensitive contact and address data remain vaulted until mutual approval; discovery cards deliberately exclude emails, phones, last names, and street addresses.
• Reporting & moderation: Members may report abusive Profiles or chats; Bitmoq may investigate and act under Section 7.
• Tiered feature access: Plan limits and gated capabilities reduce abuse surfaces available to newly created or untrusted accounts.
• Content & photo standards: Attire and authenticity expectations reduce deceptive or inappropriate imagery.
• Audit trail mindset: Security-relevant events (authentication, PII unlocks, verification outcomes) are designed to be attributable for dispute handling.
• No guarantee of match outcomes: Bitmoq provides tools and introductions; we do not arrange marriages as a guaranteed result and are not a party to offline agreements between families.

Protecting Member data—especially PII—is a core design principle of Bitmoq. You acknowledge and agree to the following security model:

9.1 Separation of public biodata and vaulted PII

Match-relevant attributes used for filtering and discovery are stored separately from vaulted PII. Full names for legal identity, phone numbers, email addresses, and precise addresses are treated as non-public by default. They are not shown on public homepage teasers, guest views, or ordinary discovery cards.

9.2 Encryption in transit

Communications between your browser or app and Bitmoq’s servers are protected using industry-standard Transport Layer Security (TLS/HTTPS). You must not disable certificate validation or use the Platform over known insecure intermediaries for the purpose of intercepting traffic.

9.3 Encryption & hardened storage at rest

Sensitive datasets—including the PII vault and message payloads designed for encrypted text storage—are held in systems configured for encryption at rest using modern cryptographic standards offered by our infrastructure providers. Access to production databases is restricted to authenticated service roles and authorised operational staff under least-privilege practices.

9.4 Access control & row-level protection

Application queries are constrained so that Users cannot read another Member’s vaulted PII merely by guessing identifiers. Privacy-handshake and related access checks exist specifically so that contact details become available only after the contractual mutual consent workflow succeeds.

9.5 Authentication security

Sign-in via Google OAuth delegates primary credential management to that provider. You must secure your Google account (strong unique password, multi-factor authentication) and promptly notify Bitmoq if you suspect unauthorised use of your Bitmoq session.

9.6 What is never “made public”

Bitmoq will not deliberately publish as open-web content:

• Your phone number or private email from the PII vault;
• Street-level or house-level residential addresses;
• Identity document images or numbers submitted for verification;
• Chat contents of private rooms to the general public or search engines.

Limited non-PII teaser fields may appear to guests to encourage responsible search. Masking (for example of display names) may be applied. You remain responsible for what you voluntarily share in photos, free-text fields, or chats after a handshake.

9.7 Your security duties

No Platform can eliminate all risk. You must not screenshot or forward unlocked PII beyond people actively involved in the matrimonial discussion; not reuse weak public Wi-Fi without a trusted VPN for sensitive chats; and not grant device access to untrusted parties. Breach of another User’s privacy by you is misuse under Sections 6–7.

9.8 Incident response

If Bitmoq becomes aware of a security incident affecting PII, we will investigate, contain, and—where required by applicable law—notify affected Users and authorities within prescribed timelines. You agree to cooperate reasonably with incident inquiries that involve your account.

Bitmoq hosts introductions; it does not control offline meetings, family negotiations, or the honesty of every participant at every moment. Other Users may still attempt fraud or concealment despite our protections. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• You assume the residual risk of interacting with other Members online and offline.
• Bitmoq is not liable for marriages, breakups, financial losses, emotional distress, or crimes committed by Users, except to the extent liability cannot be excluded by law or arises from Bitmoq’s proven wilful misconduct.
• Bitmoq’s commitment upon learning of misuse, misrepresentation, or User-posed risk is swift enforcement under Section 7—not a guarantee of prevention before the fact.

Meet in safe public places for early meetings, involve trusted family members, and never send money, OTP codes, cryptocurrency, or identity documents to someone claiming urgency via chat.

You grant Bitmoq a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, display, and process your Profile content and media solely to operate, secure, improve, and promote the Platform (including showing discovery cards to eligible Members and limited teasers to guests as described). You represent you own or control all rights in content you upload. Bitmoq may remove content that violates these Terms without transferring ownership of your underlying materials back in a public archive.

New Users completing onboarding are placed on Free tier unless otherwise stated. Paid plans, if offered, are described on the Plan page. Bitmoq may change plan features prospectively for future purchases. Abuse of Free tier (for example automated mass browsing or harvesting) remains a violation regardless of payment status.

By completing a payment for any paid plan, you expressly accept the Refund Terms in Section 13.

No refunds. All payments made to Bitmoq for membership plans, upgrades, renewals, or related paid features are strictly non-refundable. Once paid, there is no refund for any reason, including change of mind, unused features, partial use of the plan period, dissatisfaction with matches, account inactivity, deletion or suspension of your account following a Terms violation, or migration between devices.

13.1 Plan term must be served

When you purchase a paid plan, you purchase access for a defined term (for example monthly or annual tenure as shown at checkout). Once payment succeeds, that term must be served — you are not entitled to cancel mid-term for a cash refund, credit-card chargeback of convenience, or unused remaining days converted to cash. Benefits remain available for the paid term subject to these Terms and Bitmoq’s enforcement rights.

13.2 Upgrades — fair payment adjustment (not a refund)

If you upgrade from a lower paid plan to a higher paid plan while time remains on your current term, Bitmoq will adjust the amount charged so that you pay fairly for the higher plan. Typically this means recognising the unused value of your existing plan as a credit or offset against the price of the higher plan for the overlapping period, rather than collecting the full higher-plan price again without regard to what you already paid.

Such an adjustment is a billing credit / proration toward the upgrade, not a refund to your bank or wallet. No cash, UPI, card, or wallet reversal is issued for the unused portion of a lower plan when you upgrade. The precise calculation may depend on plan prices, billing cycles, and payment-provider rules shown at the time of upgrade.

13.3 Downgrades & renewals

Moving to a lower plan or to Free generally takes effect only after the current paid term ends, unless Bitmoq states otherwise at the time. Unused time on a higher plan is not refunded when you downgrade. Renewals are new charges; each renewal is likewise non-refundable once paid.

13.4 Mandatory law

If a non-waivable consumer or payment-law right requires a refund in your jurisdiction despite this Section, Bitmoq will honour only the minimum remedy that law mandates. Where the law allows a no-refund membership model, these Refund Terms control.

The Bitmoq name, marks, UI, software, filters, copy, and design systems are owned by Bitmoq or its licensors. You may not copy, scrape, mirror, or create derivative works of the Platform except for ordinary personal use of your account. Feedback you provide may be used by Bitmoq without obligation to compensate you.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Bitmoq, its directors, employees, contractors, and partners from and against any claims, damages, losses, fines, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your breach of these Terms; (b) your provision of non-genuine or infringing information; (c) your misuse of another Member’s data; (d) your offline conduct toward other Users or their families; or (e) your violation of applicable law.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Bitmoq shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or marriage opportunity, whether based in contract, tort (including negligence), or otherwise, even if advised of the possibility. Bitmoq’s aggregate liability for claims relating to the Platform shall not exceed the greater of (i) the amounts you paid to Bitmoq for membership in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or (ii) INR 5,000 (or equivalent), except where liability cannot be capped by law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud by Bitmoq, death or personal injury caused by Bitmoq’s proven negligence where such exclusion is unlawful, or any other liability that cannot be limited under mandatory law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer venue rights that apply to you. You agree to first attempt good-faith resolution by contacting Bitmoq’s support channel before initiating formal proceedings, except where immediate injunctive relief is necessary.

• Severability: If any provision is held unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect and the provision is modified to the minimum extent required.
• No waiver: Failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of future enforcement.
• Assignment: Bitmoq may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or Platform transfer. You may not assign your account without our consent.
• Entire agreement: These Terms, together with any Privacy Policy and plan-specific terms presented at purchase, constitute the entire agreement regarding the Platform and supersede prior conflicting statements except for fraud.
• Survival: Sections concerning genuineness liability, verification records, enforcement, refunds, indemnity, liability limits, and governing law survive account termination.

By clicking “Continue with Google”, completing onboarding, or otherwise using Bitmoq, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions, that all information you provide is 100% genuine, and that you accept Bitmoq’s right to verify that information and to remove accounts and pursue legal remedies for misuse, misrepresentation, or conduct that endangers other Users. If you purchase a paid plan, you also accept the Refund Terms in Section 13 (no refunds; plan term must be served; upgrades receive fair payment adjustment, not a cash refund).
